It was said that the Republican Party was deeply divided but as far as I know every sitting Republican Governor, Senator, and Congressman will attend the party's convention. Not so with the Democrats. Citing serious problems with Obama, Democratic West Virginia Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin says he'll skip the shindig. Keeping him company at home will be Senator Joe Manchin and Congressman Nick Rahall.
Of course Keith Russell Judd, the inmate at the Beaumont Federal Correctional Institution in Beaumont, Texas who ran up 40 percent of the vote against Obama won't be able to make the event either. I wonder if his delegates will?
