I suppose the AFL-CIO is trying to position itself to survive in a post Obama America but this has to hurt! According to US New's Washington Whisper big labor is paring back its campaign funding, electing to build its own structure whatever that may be.
"We wanted to start investing our funds in our own infrastructure and advocacy," AFL-CIO spokesman Josh Goldstein told Whispers. "There will be less contributions to candidates," including President Obama.
The labor organization wants its own structure with "different kinds of support to different candidates."
It's sort of like you told your old girl friend; "I love you but I want to date other girls."
OMG! Just as Sheldon Adeleson has promised to smear $100 million to Romney's super PAC Richard Trumka jerks the rug out from under the President. You don't suppose failing to show up in Wisconsin and adding 800,000 illegal immigrants to the employment rolls has anything to do with this? Oh well, Obama still has the gay vote and all the illegal aliens he can sneak into the polling booth.
