Media frenzy yields little about Trayvon

A shining LA Times article entitled "Obama's shining 'If I had a son, he would look like Trayvon' moment" in which Obama is exalted because he said this:
"If I had a son, he would look like Trayvon."
With those 10 simple words, President Obama said so much on Friday.
Obama was at the White House -- introducing his nominee to take over as World Bank president -- when he was asked by a reporter to address the fatal shooting of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin.
He also offered this somewhat stock comment:
"I think all of us have to do some soul-searching to figure out how does something like this happen. And that means that we examine the laws and the context for what happened, as well as the specifics of the incident."
And now, from MyFoxTampaBay, we learn that a witness says the aggressor, the beater, the criminal, the violent attacker was Trayvon, who wore a hoodie, to which his friends have jumped to say he was pure as the driven snow, which he may be and certainly looks it, but it must be said that USA Today loaded the aforementioned with lots of sympathetic vignettes and descriptions intended to incite support. MyFoxTampaBay:
"The guy on the bottom who had a red sweater on was yelling to me: 'help, help…and I told him to stop and I was calling 911," he said.
Trayvon Martin was in a hoodie; Zimmerman was in red.
The witness only wanted to be identified as "John," and didn't not want to be shown on camera.
His statements to police were instrumental, because police backed up Zimmerman's claims, saying those screams on the 911 call are those of Zimmerman.
  Hm.
  Like father, like son?
The apple doesn't fall far from the tree?
Obviously the witness himself doesn't want to be identified, considering the lawless behavior exhibited by the populace these days.
Meanwhile, old Geraldo is in hot water because he said people shouldn't dress provocatively in hoodies because in all those government warnings about aggressors they're wearing hoodies.
Though DHS says all terrorists are probably white, note that wearing a hoodie indicates a criminal is burrowed underneath.

Now all the sympathizers are wearing the hoodie as a symbol of solidarity with other, um, government designated criminals.
I think we can all agree that the Cambridge police acted stupidly.
UPDATE: Threats against Zimmerman, naturally.
UPDATE 2: Why was Trayvon's photo altered?
