It's been a long time coming but the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform has concluded its investigation of Countrywide Mortgage. Readers will remember "Angelo's list", the politically connected friends of CEO Angelo Mozilo. Congressman Darrell Issa is tweeting a preview of the committee's report and it could be election year dynamite. Senator Chris Dodd, who's sweetheart deal with Countrywide ended his Senate career was not the sole offender. Issa tweets that 29 members of Congress and congressional staff received special treatment in exchange for political support.
