Gallup: Americans not too concerned about climate change

Obama says the science is settled. Kerry says the threat global warming ranks with disease outbreaks, poverty, terrorism and the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction. The Senate spent all night "debating" the subject just this week but the American public merely yawns. Gallup has been polling the subject since 1998, and yes, it turns out that about a third of Americans perceive global warming / climate change as serious threat to their way of life. That's up from 1998 but down from the high in 2008.

Supposedly the subject gets real traction with the unfortunate millenials who have had to endure years of watching An Inconvenient Truth as part of their civic indoctrination but no. Fifty-seven percent don't think it's going to harm them. Obama might just as well try selling them health insurance.
