Did everyone at the White House go on vacation? It's been more than 48 hours since Standard and Poor down graded US debt yet there has been no response from the White House. I read the transcript of the weekly radio address and it had obviously been recorded earlier and no need to waste a perfectly good address. The White House web site doesn't appear to have been updated since August 4. Apparently Obama and company don't think the down grade is important enough to even mention. It's not like picking your NCAA playoff brackets or dissing BP or even fretting how Congress can't agree on the FAA's budget. Is this the "no drama Obama" that was sold to us by an adoring press or an episode from the "Twilight Zone"?
