The last Quinnipiac University poll we looked at showed Obama sinking in New York. Now he's taking on water in New Jersey. The August 17 poll shows Obama down 52% disapprove to 44% approve on job approval. In the last poll Obama was 50% disapprove to 46 % approve rating, not an encouraging trend. Elsewhere in the poll, Gov. Chris Christie has shored up his ratings with 47% approve to a 46% disapprove.
