Obama slipped to minus 23 in the Rasmussen Presidential Approval Index. The Presidential Approval Index is computed by subtracting those who strongly disapprove of a president's job performance from those who strongly approve. In This instance 19 percent of voters strongly approve of the job Obama is doing while 42 percent strongly disapprove.
