Here we go again! Who is writing Obama's speeches these days? Yes, his poll numbers did improve by a single point while the tour lasted but now have dropped back to a 39% approval rating in the Gallup daily tracking poll. While Congresswoman Maxine Waters complained he didn't take the bus into black neighborhoods, and Rick Perry dissed his Fed chairman, the President stayed on point reminding everyone that the Arab spring and the Japanese
tsunami were the real cause of our economic woes. Then as the tour wound down he slipped back into his rant against technology and its short term dislocations while ignoring its role in raising everyone's standard of living.
Honestly I just don't get all this. Are they REALLY so out of it (clueless) that they don't know this isn't going to work??? This is just downright stupid. I don't think anyone would mind his taking a vacation if they thought he was actually DOING something about the economic mess. I mean, he stopped taking economic briefings! Good Lord!
