Chalk up one for the blogosphere. ABC and MSNBC have been caught in the act. The deliberate attempt to create the fiction that Governor Rick Perry is a racist, so much so he lets it bleed through his speech with the metaphor of a black cloud that would be Obama, has been spiked. Thanks to Larry O' Conner at Breitbart TV, ABC has had to secretly amend its web page, declaring that Governor Perry was referring to the national debt as a dark cloud and MSNBC has issued a half-assed apology. Were it not for Breitbart TV and the blogs that disseminate this video and story the racist meme would have probably morphed into a conventional wisdom that Perry is a bigot. It gives me great personal pleasure to update my partner's post with this good news.
