New IMF Head Caught In Scandal
Dominique Strauss-Kahn has managed to improve his public image from that of violent rapist to merely oversexed Euro trash, a victim who misunderstood the exact nature of the service provided by his hotel. These mistakes are apparently quite common. Almost the same thing happened to Al Gore just last year. Struggling to put the bad press behind it the International Monetary Fund sacked Strauss-Kahn and selected Ms Christine Lagarde and walked right into another scandal. Ms Lagarde is now the subject of an investigation to determine if she abused her authority as French finance minister. No one believes Ms Lagarde profited personally when she intervened in a dispute between a bank and a French tycoon but cronyism is not an endearing trait to most Americans who pay 27% of the IMF's annual budget. Oh well, she served well for a whole month.

I heard Rush say she was a good buddy from Chicago of you know who. Hmmmm. Suspicious circumstances and charges of "set-up" were flying through the air when this first happened. Hmmmm. Hmmmm.
