Obama hits new low in Ohio poll

Obama has hit a new low in Ohio in the latest Quinnipiac University poll with only 35% of Ohioans approving of the job he is doing while 61% disapprove. This is the lowest number Obama has hit in any state or national poll conducted by Quinnipiac. His previous low was 36% in Colorado. If Obama does better than anything it's Obamacare. Support for Obamacare in the Buckeye State is 34% while 59% of voters do not approve of the president's signature legislation.
Most Ohioans (57% to 39%) do not think Obama is trustworthy and honest.
If anyone does well in the poll it's Hillary. She understandably beats  Governor John Kasich 49% to 38% but also beats Chris Christie 42% to 41%. The rest of the Republicans do worse.
  • 50 - 37 percent over former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush;
  • 48 - 39 percent over U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida;
  • 50 - 40 percent over U.S. Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky;
  • 49 - 41 percent over U.S. Rep. Paul Ryan of Wisconsin.
  • 50 - 35 percent over U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas.
Much of the strength Hillary shows is due to simple name recognition. None of the Republicans have been players on the national scene while the shopworn former first lady has been around for two decades. It remains to be seen how well she will do when voters are reminded of Hillary Care or the details of the Benghazi scandal become public.
