Democratic House leadership has nothing to apologize for.
"I don't think there's anything for us to apologize for," said Rep. Jim Clyburn. Fair enough. They didn't say " If you like you health insurance you can keep it"? Nancy Pelosi's web page still says "Keep your doctor, and your current plan, if you like them" but Pelosi says ""Did I ever tell my constituents that if they liked their plan they could keep it? I would have if I'd ever met anybody who liked his or her plan. But that was not my experience."
