Honor Flight of Northwest Ohio good to go.

It's unprecedented and without a name so some are calling it the super rally. It will be the convergence of truckers, bikers and vets. The Million Vet March on the Memorials will be held Sunday, Oct. 13, at 9 a.m. Eastern at the World War II memorial on the National Mall, the location where park police under orders from the White House tried, unsuccessfully, to prevent vets from visiting in recent days. To put it mildly these people are pissed at the treatment of World War II veterans.
“This is unforgivable. It is also unjustified, as no taxpayer funds are spent by keeping these shrines open. We will open them ourselves, if that’s what it takes,” said the group, founded by former Navy SEAL Larry Bailey.

The Honor Flight of Northwest Ohio will proceed with its scheduled trip Wednesday, October 16 to the World War II Memorial in Washington, D.C.
“We’d been watching the issue for several weeks,” said Lee Armstrong, the group’s president. “We planned the flight back in May, but knowing they were talking about a government shutdown on Oct. 1, we kept watching and told our volunteers to be ready.”
Congressman Bob Latta, of Bowling Green, said the group should come, but Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur, who is a chronic embarrassment to Toledo, recommended they stay home because of the lack of restroom facilities and interpretive staff. Worry about you own Depends, sister and these men speak English, thank you.
