Can you say failure?

Who the hell writes headlines for the AP? Under the title, "Obamacare a success so far? It's hard to say" we find that neither Oregon nor Colorado has enrolled a single applicant and that Vermont's exchange is so buggy that they have started passing out paper applications. Sound successful?
Bob Laszewski, a Washington, D.C.-based health care industry consultant says "Obamacare has a lot of cynics in this country, and it needs to get off to a better start than what we see so far if it's going to be a success."
Why would there be a lot of cynics out there? Could it be because no state other than Kentucky has released numbers that point to Obamacare doing well. The good news is Kentucky has enrolled 18,351 applicants. The bad news is that's better than California with 16,300 applications completed as of Tuesday but with ten times the number of uninsured as Kentucky.
Vantage Health Plan, one of four companies offering plans through Louisiana's exchange reported enrolling 12 people, and CoOportunity Health, reported five enrollees in Iowa and nine in Nebraska as of mid-week.
HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebilius made a stop at Pittsburgh's Heinz Field as part of a promotional tour that will include several cities. After the usual speeches, handshaking and ass kissing she trotted out 20 certified Healthcare.gov specialists with laptops to begin enrolling members of the audience. They were not able to complete a single application. Is that a success? Hard to say.
