New health care laws behind schedule
I can see it now. I've become a "bottleneck." Waiting for an MRI in a hospital waiting room. Or worse, at home waiting for the phone call to schedule the MRI. Or waiting for the doctor to call the hospital to schedule the MRI, of which there are only a few in town, as prescribed by Obama's guy to head up Medicare (“You plan the supply; you aim a bit low; you prefer slightly too little of a technology or a service to too much; then you search for care bottlenecks and try to relieve them.”). And, now, those people who can't run the post office, who can't stop an oil spill in the Gulf, who have bankrupted Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac and social security and medicaid and medicare....THOSE people are going to run health care.
Critics say missed deadlines and other signs show the Obama administration is stumbling out of the gate on its early steps to implement the president’s health-care law.
The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has already missed as many as four deadlines under the law – not on any major regulations — but still a worrying trend, critics say.
