Put down the Cheetos, slowly, and back away from the remote

Well, at least "journalist" and tv talking heads are being honest about using White House talking points. This video is pretty hilarious as Mika of Jokin' Joe's Coffee Hour at MSNBC literally buries her face in White House talking points as she spouts them off. Why? She's being very transparent about this, she says. She's doing it because Rudy Giuliani came on and said lots of stuff the White House didn't agree with and she had to refute that. So there.
Now Jokin' Joe has come to the defense of the inadvertently truthful Mika, criticizing bloggers (citizen journalists & commentators) for criticizing Mika.

SCARBOROUGH: Mika yesterday, she gets pounded by—you know, I won't even call them names—because then they'll say [imitating] "Scarborough called [inaudible]" eating Cheetos.  But bloggers said oh, Mika is just reading White House talking points.  Well, it's actually called reporting. We asked.  Because Rudy came on here and said [Obama] hasn't talked to any industry people, and so I said, let's call the White House and get a list of all the meetings.  And that's exactly what we did. And we got the list.  And it said that actually he had been reaching out to industry types from the beginning. And so, we read the list.  Now, we read the list differently. Mika interpreted it one way and I another, but that's another - -
What's funny about this is is Scarborough mocking Cheeto eating bloggers for commenting on his show. You'd think he wouldn't want to scare away ANY of the four people watching his show since everyone's over watching Fox and Friends, which beats them up daily.
Go here to watch the ridiculous Mika video:
This really has to be seen to be believed. We all know that MSNBC--Chris Matthews, Rachel Maddow, etc.--is in the tank for the Obama administration, but I think this is the first time an on-air MSNBC personality has confessed to "working with the White House" on talking points; here, regarding the Gulf oil spill. The MSNBC employee in question is Mika Brzezinski, the daughter of Jimmy Carter's national security adviser. It's really pretty funny to see her reading the White House talking points on air:
