Barack Obama: Straw man & Soros stooge?

So it hits the fan this week.
Obama, the environmentalist who is SO concerned about the environment that he wants to take away thousands and thousands of American jobs and make the US even more reliant on foreign oil, destroying our economy and crippling our standing in the world, is investing billions of American dollars into drilling off Brazil.
  Which company, you ask?
Why, George Soros's oil company Petrobras, of course! This report from 2009 explains, even while being hopeful that Obama was going to commit to limited drilling off our shores.
Obama Underwrites Offshore Drilling
You read that headline correctly. Unfortunately, the Obama Administration is financing oil exploration off Brazil
The U.S. is going to lend billions of dollars to Brazil's state-owned oil company, Petrobras, to finance exploration of the huge offshore discovery in Brazil's Tupi oil field in the Santos Basin near Rio de Janeiro. Brazil's planning minister confirmed that White House National Security Adviser James Jones met this month with Brazilian officials to talk about the loan.
Well, that's out the window now. We have a commission of environmentalist climate change/global warming advocates and eggheads to tell us, in SIX MONTHS, that we're sorry, we can't drill off shore anymore.
Tired of the hypocrisy of environmentalists screaming about your having a van for your 3 kids while they fly around the world to tell everyone to stop using oil? Or even just fly their lettuce in from Italy every couple days? Why, it'd be nice if YOU could fly your wife to Chicago for the weekend, especially on the taxpayers' dime and regardless of the mess you'll make for everybody else in the city, wouldn't it?
Okay, back to the topic at hand. Soros.
Does it begin to appear that Obama is a straw man (a person whose
importance or function is only nominal, as to cover another's activities; front)?
  Let's think about it.
He's good at talking but his speeches are orchestrated, written by someone else. He is utterly dependent on his teleprompters. When he gets off teleprompter, he makes huge gaffes, like saying there are 57 states in the US, getting the date wrong on his parents' getting together, and saying that Iran isn't a threat to us, even as they are building nuclear bombs underground. Indeed, Obama has had someone behind him from the beginning. After all, he wasn't well liked as a faculty member at Chicago Law. This man who wrote two autobiographies before the age of 40 (Do you know how hard it is to get a book contract?) had had his writing credentials questioned by critics, who were very curious that a relatively unknown young man could be anointed so young. And such a substantial down payment on the book. Oy! How strange! How...fortuitous...
Nice work if you can get it. The article doesn’t quite make clear when that second contract was worked out, sometime between 1990 (Harvard Law Review) and 1995 (the book’s publication). A $40,000 book contract in 1993 would be $58,427.46 in 2007, according to the Inflation Calculator.
And then there was the report last week on the WSJ which noticed that whatever the Center for American Progress requested, the White House leaps to do it quickly.
The liberal think tank with close White House ties appears to have more influence on spill policy than the president’s in-house advisers. On May 4, for instance, the CAP’s energy and environment expert, Daniel Weiss, called on the president to name an independent commission to look at the causes of the Deepwater Horizon disaster. On May 22, he did just that.
And guess what? Guess who's a major funder of Center for American Progress? George Soros.
Known as "The Man Who Broke the Bank of England," Soros funds many liberal causes and is somehow often involved in financial mischief around the world:

In 1988, he was asked to join a takeover attempt of the French bank Société Générale. He declined to participate in the bid but later bought a number of shares in the company. French authorities began an investigation in 1989, and in 2002 a French court ruled that it was insider trading, a felony conviction as defined under French securities laws, and fined him $2.3 million, which was the amount that he made using the insider information.
And turmoil in the Asian world:
Most recently, Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad initially blamed Soros for causing the collapse of Southeast Asian currencies through a similar maneuver. The turmoil in the Asian markets was the impetus for a chain reaction that led to a 554-point, one-day drop in the Dow on Oct. 27.
Soros also supports euthanasia, legalizing marijuana and open borders--anything that degrades the quality of rule and law in the United States:
A naturalized U.S. citizen, Soros is a staunch advocate of legislation promoting the welfare of immigrants in the United States. His other causes are far more controversial. Soros has spent close to $20 million trying to change American attitudes toward illegal drugs, to cite one example. Last year, he donated $1 million in support of California and Arizona ballot initiatives that legalized marijuana for medicinal purposes. He and millionaires John Sperling of Phoenix and Peter Lewis of Cleveland gave another $1 million for the failed marijuana initiative in Washington state.
He also supports a form of legalized euthanasia. Soros has given $15 million to the Death in America project and at least $150,000 to groups promoting assisted suicide in Oregon. In an interview with the New Yorker magazine in 1995, Soros voiced disapproval of his father's reluctance to die, even though he was gravely ill. "My father unfortunately wanted to live ... and I was kind of disappointed in him.... I wrote him off." His mother was a member of the Hemlock Society and was ready to take her own life, but didn't.
And there were whispers in 2008 about the so-called crash that rattled everyone to push the whole TARP mess and caused McCain to make a really bad decision. In fact, that whole October right before the election thing was really suspicious...sort of an "October surprise" that influenced the election, some suggested. American Thinker:

Who else may have benefited? Indeed, who may have helped precipitate the crisis by taking actions that would weaken the ABX Index? We don't know, but there are some obvious suspects.
George Soros for one. Soros (the "owner of the Democratic Party" according to Saturday Night Live) is a legendary hedge fund manager who has become a political powerbroker of unrivaled influence within the Democratic Party (see The Shadow Party: How George Soros, Hillary Clinton and Sixties Radicals Seized Control of the Democratic Party) and who has an empire of politically active 527 groups, of which he is the number one donor, by far, in America.
Soros's hedge fund -- like most hedge funds -- is based overseas and escapes much scrutiny and regulation (more on this later). Word of Paulson's early success got "around in the world of hedge funds and Soros invited Paulson for lunch, "asking for details of how he laid his bets, with instruments that didn't exist a few years ago"
So is Obama, the bobble headed fellow who is running this whole oil spill cleanup, who's been claiming for weeks that the feds are IN CHARGE, even while excoriating BP's mishandling of it, is Obama being guided by the Soros machine?
The truth is that the person in charge at the White House has proven himself to be utterly incompetent or utterly untruthful. The mess that is the oil spill cleanup (not fixing the hole--that's an oil company problem) and the lies told in the Oval Office speech the other night indicate that he simply does not have what it takes to be organized, forthright and competent when it comes to running any organization, much less a country the size of this one.
It makes sense that someone, someone who does not like this country, someone is pulling his strings. That person doesn't really care about the future of the politician Obama, otherwise that person would do something to pull this fool back from the precipice on which he now stands.
The conclusion that many of us are drawing is that Obama doesn't know what he's doing, and probably doesn't really care. He isn't presidential, has no gravitas, and he is a political opportunist who throws in a little something about "God Bless America" because he knows there's a significant rumor circulating on the internet that Obama has admitted to the Egyptians that he's a Muslim, a Chicago thug who's been lifted into lofty heights by someone much more powerful than he.
  He's just a figurehead.
The question is: Who's the Wizard?
