Controversies today & yesterday

Lots of controversy around Carly Fiorina (Republican California senatorial candidate) for talking into an open mic. One of the things she said is she's amazed that Meg Whitman (California Republican gubernatorial candidate-who would want that job), who hasn't done many television interviews, has chosen to go on Sean Hannity's show for one of her first national interviews. "You know how he is," Fiorina says. So the video is 9 minutes long over at CNN political ticker. If you listen to the interview all the way through, at the end she makes the comment that Hannity is a tough interviewer.
Now this is an interesting observation. The thread of comments over there is vile, criticizing Fiorina's hair (she is recovering from cancer), accusing Hannity of being an idiot, etc. One might wonder if any CNN interviewers are feared for being tough interviewers...of liberal candidates! That is exactly the observation Fiorina made of a conservative Fox commenter.
Another interesting fact about the CNN thread is that the comments are moderated; most of them are extremely negative toward anything conservative. Yet when I posted a cryptic criticism of the comments and CNN 18 minutes after the last nasty comment, suddenly the moderated comments stopped, so my comment is still sitting there "awaiting moderation."
So the question is this: have you tried commenting on the various left learning websites, watched the thread, and noticed that your right leaning comment never gets posted? Do you follow through, waiting to see what happens? And isn't it about time right leaning posters started making sure their positions are known on the left leaning websites like Yahoo and CNN (not Democratic Underground or hopeless causes like Daily Kos...waste of time)???
It is about time that tea partiers take hold of some of the comment threads on these so-called news websites. For years, many of us have just observed these threads without commenting. We need to start to provide balance.
