ENDORSE Issue 2, Occupy Toledo and local news roundup

Apparently the occupiers of Levis Park in downtown Toledo got into a little bang up last night by trying to enter city council chambers with signs, which is verboten, and wound up in jail. Three occupiers were allowed to enter without signs.
  Wow. It ain't pretty.
An email breach at the Lucas County Election Board has state officials concerned. There's been mischief here before. Fox Toledo:
Toledo police and the FBI are looking into who hacked into the email account of a board of elections employee.
Ohio's top election official is so concerned about the removal of two computer servers in that investigation, that he fired off a letter Wednesday to the board of elections. Ohio Secretary of State Jon Husted wants assurances that next week's vote count won't be affected and extra security measures put in place. The secretary of state also wants answers by the end of business Thursday.
Maumee Schools have a levy. If it doesn't pass, everyone will die or something. Wages are only 70% of their budget, as opposed to Perrysburg's, which are about 85% and projected to soar astronomically in the next four years.
Perrysburg School Board contestants debated; for the record, this blog (not the Perrysburg Patriots) thinks Barry van Hoozen and Cal Smith look like great people to have on the board. van Hoozen has done a great job. Issue 2 is a bone of contention among the board contestants; perhaps several of the people running need to realize there's no more money.
Perrysburg City Council has voted to endorse Issue 2 because of the tremendous cost of pensions and accelerating health care costs of city and union employees, although some members squawked about it.
Northwest Ohio Conservative Coalition endorses both Issues 2 & 3.
