Tea Partiers to blame for White House shooter?

Hoosierman points out that accusers are trying to blame the Tea Party for various occupier related events.
Here is another incident where a liberal journalist takes aim at Tea Parties, in this case for the occupier who shot at the White House and was subsequently arrested for attempted assassination, even though Obama was NOT in the W residence at the time (go figure THAT out). The Washington Examiner points to the Guardian for this little gem:

"Alleged presidential assassin Ortega-Hernandez reportedly called Obama 'the Antichrist,'" notes the subtitle of Sarah Posner, "So who put that idea in his head?'"
Posner doesn't give a straight answer, but points to apocalyptic comments by American televangelists who have suggested a variety of people as the Antichrist, before naming some Michigan pastor who seems to think Obama has a high "Antichrist quotient.
Guardian author uses as proof a video she shot of a Latino couple at a Glenn Beck rally who are holding a sign with a picture of Obama with horns. Apparently THIS is enough to make her outrageous statements that the Tea Party somehow telepathically planted this idea in the shooter's brain, even though he undoubtedly never saw or heard them.
This is absurd, as is her article at the Guardian.
An observant reader might note that, while isolated incidents of Tea Partiers holding signs are regarded as emblematic of the entire movement, while occupiers' violent and illegal behavior is regarded as, oh, one or two stray nuts in a movement so large.
The generosity accorded occupiers never seems to quite make it to the Tea Party.
Twinkles up, boys and girls, and let's chant.
  Occupiers 99% regular guys.
  Tea Partiers extremists.
