Mourdock vs Lugar vs Thomas?

As Dick Mourdock wonders how to stretch the $300,000 his campaign has raised into something that can overcome the $3.8 million Senator Dick Lugar has on hand there is another problem on the horizon. Bob Thomas, a South Bend car dealer is thinking of entering the primary and will make up his after Thanksgiving. Thomas dropped $600,000 in a spirited primary challenge against former Congressman Mark Souder.(After the primary, Souder resigned following his admission that he had an extramarital affair with a part-time staffer.) Conventional wisdom seems to dictate a three way race would be a huge advantage for Lugar. Stay tuned.
