Some people think so. Read this over at Daily Beast (carried by Yahoo) and see what you think. This event occurred at the Aspen Ideas Festival, at which Mort Zuckerman and Niall Ferguson spoke. In the audience were many "elite," including Barbra Streisand and husband Brolin, who indicated approval at the principles that were being suggested including fiscal austerity and creating a more business friendly environment, very much UNLIKE what the one man job wrecking crew that is our president has put into place.
How Streisand's applauding these principles square with her statement, found here, about business and the oil spill is a mystery. The oil spill and its cleanup are two different projects; the latter our government has claimed to be in charge of and responsible for, which is nothing but a miserable mess with long term repercussions for which the Gulf area will suffer for generations. Negligence is the only word to describe what's happening down here.
