SIckening race baiting, tea party bashing

We must be doing something right, although it's sure hard to see or feel when you watch the non-stop drumbeat from the press about how BAD the tea party is, like there is one huge group of people assembled in a room somewhere, thinking about nasty signs, trying to dream up ways to subvert the government through nefarious means.
Fox, which covers both sides of arguments with regard to race, has done a significant job in trying to get both sides of the current "tea partiers are racist, so says the NAACP" meme.
But it gets discouraging watching Fox, after a while, primarily because they ALWAYS want to have the race baiters like Leo Terrell and Malik Shabazz on to represent their version of hate. While it's instructive to let these people hang themselves (NOT meant to be a racist expression) by their own words and just let them rant, it gets tiresome after a while because it appears to give legitimacy to people whose views simply are mean and destructive.
And thus the meme of "tea partiers are racists" enters the MSM, so teenagers (who are left wing to begin with) can run around saying, "Tea partiers are racist," because they heard it, by now on CNN.
While watching Geraldo last night, who did legitimately defend the tea party movement, I reached a conclusion.
I'm not listening to these people anymore. I'm muting them. I've kept my mind open to their arguments because I really truly do not want to set anyone back for any unfair reason. Everyone (except those who have proven themselves to be outside the law) deserves a fair hearing.
But over and over, we're hearing decent people like Niger Innis and Deneen Borelli of Project 21, struggling to articulate a reasonable rational response to idiots like Leo Tyrrell and be drowned out because they 1) won't scream 2) are too intelligent 3) are decent conservative people 4) aren't idiots.
Characteristics shared by none of the race baiting bimbos who represent the other side of the argument.
So who is this Jealous guy, who claims to have seen signs at tea parties that say "Lynch Barack Obama," etc. Did he ever go to a tea party?
Highly doubtful. Doesn't anybody remember the now defunct and unstable Crash the Tea Party? More here.
In fact, In all likelihood, most of the people who criticize the tea parties have done nothing but watch their tvs and hang out at liberal websites where such racist signs can be found because everybody knows liberals are much more interested in race baiting than our side.
So here comes Lloyd Marcus of the Tea Party Express.
He says STOP, tea partiers! Don't be so defensive. Why be defensive when you know you're not guilty of something the left is accusing you of? STOP BEING DEFENSIVE. Let them fight their own stupid battles. We know what we are.
We know that we are the most egalitarian group of people in this nation.
  This is good advice.
Why are leftists screaming and fighting the tea party movement so hard, yet at the same time trying to replicate it with union demonstrations and paid thugs? (We are Greece.)
  It's because we're onto something.
The movement is spreading across this country like fire, and they don't know how to stop it because it really ISN"T ORGANIZED. It's truly grassroots, truly organic and no one, NO ONE, not the Republicans or Democrats or any politicians, can stop the "small people," the little guy from prowling the streets and the town halls with hand held cameras, microphones, questions, and armed with information.
We rock, and they know it.
They are doing everything they can to discourage you and me from claiming our Constitutional rights, from speaking out, from following them and their carbon footprints and spending spree habits because they don't want the light shone on their greed and power hungry maneuvers.
They want to discourage us, as surely it is discouraging to know that our government, for unknown reasons other than "copyright" issues, just shut down 73,000 free websites. Shut down. Gone. Wiped from the internet.
We aren't going away. We'll find a way. It doesn't stop with 2010 elections, even if they try to cheat. It doesn't stop with 2012.
This IS the Great Awakening. Lloyd Marcus:
It is truly unfortunate that some on our side are so easily put on the defensive. NAACP, president, Ben Jealous slandered millions of decent Tea Party patriots by saying we tolerate racists signs. We do not. Not one liberal mainstream media outlet demand that Jealous produce the “Lynch Barack Obama” and “Lynch Eric Holder” signs he claimed to have seen. Thus, the liberal media are saying these violent racist signs exist and the tea partiers are guilty simply because Jealous says so.

  1. And where are our good friends, the Republicans? As noted on this blog, Newt Gingrich though we should joint venture with the NAACP. The silence from Michael Steele, Mitch McConnell, and John Boehner has been deafening.
