Obama's shovel ready excuse: it's Bush's fault

President Barack Hussein Obama went on television today to denounce the Republicans for being reluctant to put our nation further into debt by passing yet another unemployment bill, even though tomorrow the democrats will get their 60th vote to pass this additional expenditure as Robert Byrd's replacement takes place in Washington.
Obama excoriated the Republicans, two of whom are voting for the unemployment bill, making it passable tomorrow.
Only half of the stimulus money has been spent, yet that money will not be used to pay for this unemployment bill, which will just add to the deficit, in spite of the Paygo bill Obama claimed to want in February and which was passed and then "immediately bypassed." Information on unspent stimulus funds can also be found here and here
It has been speculated that democrats are reserving the stimulus money, regardless of the pain of the currently unemployed, for partisan purposes to reelect Obama in 2012.
Much of the stimulus money has been squandered on foolish projects, including from the Washington Examiner:

$462,000 to purchase 22 concrete toilets for use in the Mark Twain National Forest in Missouri
$3.1 million to transform a canal barge into a floating museum that will travel the Erie Canal in New York state.
$300,000 for a GPS-equipped helicopter to hunt for radioactive rabbit droppings at the Hanford nuclear reservation in Washington state.
$219,000 for Syracuse University to study the sex lives of freshmen women.
And from The Hill:

$2 million to build a replica railroad as a tourist attraction in Carson City, Nev.
$1 million for A dinner cruise company based in Chicago to combat terrorism.

$500,000 to Arizona State University to study the genetic makeup of ants to determine distinctive roles in ant colonies;
$450,000 to the University of Arizona to study the division of labor in ant colonies.

$2 million to build a replica railroad as a tourist attraction in Carson City, Nev.
$390,000 to SUNY to study young adults who drink malt liquor and smoke marijuana.
$219,000 to NIH to study whether female college students are more likely to “hook up” after drinking alcohol
$72,000 to Wake Forest University to study monkeys using cocaine
AND MORE

We could go on using a search engine, but it's too sickening and this isn't a way to spend a day.
One must ask, however, why, then, does Barack Obama feel a need to add more to debt to damage this country?  The conclusion has to be that these actions are obviously very partisan and very intentional.
Rather than addressing current issues, Obama repeatedly refers to "my predecessor" and "the Republicans" and "the previous administration." Over and over we hear it, almost two years into this administration.
Yet unemployment remains at almost 10% and jobs are nowhere to be found. The current administration cannot seem to make any connection between their own policies and the current dearth of jobs, calling it a mystery:
The previous administration, my predecessor, the Republicans....yet who has been in charge of Congress since 2007?
That would be the democrats, whose friends in the MSM started covering for them immediately, including Senator Barack Hussein Obama.
The president with all the shovel ready excuses.
