Politicians need to butt out

I just don't get it. Why do politicians have to stick their noses in everything? So when the Tigers had the little brouhaha last night about the perfect game denied, why does Granholm have to think she, a politician, can overrule baseball rules to get what she wants? I have to say the actual parties involved were very gracious. It was great to see their attitudes.
