Guppy: the Lady GaGa of reporters

So as a reader and news consumer, I rage every now and then about the MSM's obvious bias toward Democrats and particularly Obama.
If the politician's behavior is abhorrent or illegal (or both, which is not unusual), the "D" is never mentioned, or mentioned about 18 paragraphs into the article.
The Republican, of course, has his party in the headline, whether the charges against him/her are true or just allegations.
  Here's today's example.
Doyle McManus has Obama's back on Obamacare, which, it is widely speculated, may go down in flames through a Supreme Court ruling.
Here's the sub heading of his McManus's op-ed "A Campaign Bombshell" in the LA Times:
If the court upholds the healthcare reform law, the president wins; if it declares the law unconstitutional, he loses. Right? Well, not so fast.
See, it's always, all the time, about Obama, not Americans.
McManus goes on to detail the Democrat talking points that no matter how that decision goes, Obama wins. Ta dah!
So let's discard any pretense of objectivity, shall we?
Here's another example of someone in the press, admittedly an "art" reporter, who really has no shame.
The idea, I guess, is that the reporter becomes the news, the unfortunately named Nancy Guppy.
Obviously Mrs. Guppy does not intended to be taken seriously but it certainly does remind one of Lady GaGa's appearance at the Grammys, no?
