The Northwest Ohio Conservative Coalition is
sponsoring a public reading of the Declaration of Independence by US
Military Veterans at 12 noon on Friday July 4, 2014 at Hood Park in
Perrysburg.
"We hope adults and children will come to Hood Park to
honor the service of our veterans as well as listen to a reading of the
Declaration of Independence by veterans. This will be a great event
for kids and grandkids to learn about the meaning of the Fourth of July
and how our veterans have helped keep our country strong", said Linda
Bowyer, Chair of the Northwest Ohio Conservative Coalition.
Veterans
are especially welcome to attend and will be recognized as part of the
event. Free pocket copies of the Constitution and the Declaration of
Independence will be given out.
