Looking for someone who cares

Well, the democrats are helping people who can't afford homes buy them. Have they done anything to stop the sub-prime loans? No. They've just taken them over. Read about it over at the New York Post. It seems the intent was always just to take it over, not to clean up the mess.
The picture available at this website, The News of the World, is tragic. Like so many things these days, everybody knows what is going to happen; it is inevitable, unless someone who cares intervenes.
Meanwhile, the always in-touch John Kerry is getting his share of payback from various commentators for blaming the voters for being uninformed.  In truth, voters are probably better informed than any time in history, so naturally, democrats are trying to censor the internet. And, of course, the bill is poorly worded, because who reads the darn things anyway?
Another democrat skips a debate, leaving Pat Toomey and Ted Koppel staring at an empty chair.
Mexico poses more of a threat than Iran.
Why is Barney Fwank being so nice, it is wondered? Is it because he's worried?
In a bid to combat apathy and flame enthusiasm, The One is still scrounging for college kids to come faint at his speech today. Interesting. Sort of.
  Meh.
  Maybe not.
