Green jobs

It's a joke, right, that people like John Kerry complain about the little guy standing in front of all those great green jobs promised to replace the jobs The One is removing from this country through moving oil rigs in Brazil but stopping them in the USA. Just love watching him talk through and down his nose at everyone when money will never ever be a problem for him, as it is for the "small people" who will have to pay more for their heat, gas and energy usage. Over at The Hill:
“We have an electorate that doesn’t always pay that much attention to what’s going on so people are influenced by a simple slogan rather than the facts or the truth or what’s happening," Kerry said last week, as reported in the Boston Globe.
The problem for John Kerry is that the electorate is too well informed, not underinformed.  This is the arrogance of the ruling class.
They promise green jobs as if there is some wonderful panacea in that industry for all the jobs that we are losing because of ideas like Kerry's and Obama's in removing traditional energy sources.
In fact, green jobs aren't all they are cracked up to be. Frank Beckmann has addressed this issue on WJR many times. A dissertation about the problem can be found here.
Pajamas Media has more by Christopher Horner:

As predicted was inevitable, today the Spanish newspaper La Gaceta runs with a full-page article fessing up to the truth about Spain’s “green jobs” boondoggle, which happens to be the one naively cited by President Obama no less than eight times as his model for the United States. It is now out there as a bust, a costly disaster that has come undone in Spain to the point that even the Socialists admit it, with the media now in full pursuit.
