It's interesting what's happening with Helen Thomas. The truth is that everyone knew she is an anti-Semite, leftwing liberal hater. She said so herself. And yet now that she has blatantly spewed hate ("Who do I hate today?") and anti-Semitism on the White House lawn, a few people are actually jumping ship, including her co-writer, her p.r. firm and Lanny Davis. She has admitted she's as far left liberal as you can go. She also says she's an opinion columnist who has a right to an opinion. Well, so does every American have a right to an opinion...that she has to go.
But why now? Why are some people asking for her to booted from Hearst because of what she says?
The answer is simple. Anti-Semitism is perfectly acceptable among the liberal elite, as long as you don't come RIGHT out and say it, especially on tape. Everyone knows that liberal elites, even Grandpa Munster, despise Israel's stand for democracy and independence. The only democracy in the Middle East should have more in common with the United States than any other government in the ME, yet liberals despise it.
