Up until now Mitt Romney hasn't done much to cheer about. The selection of Paul Ryan for vice president brings a authenticity to the Romney campaign. Assuming that Romney will have the good sense to use Ryan to maximum advantage he will have the advantage of being able to sell hard budget cuts to weak kneed Republican legislators. In the near term, Romney can find his message which to date has been lacking. The selection of Congressman Paul Ryan tells all who follow politics the Romney administration will be serious about curbing the nation's run away budget and allows candidate Romney to wear the reformer label. The video below is Paul Ryan at his best. He shredded the arguments in favor of Obamacare while Obama could only look on in ignorance.
Yeah, you're definitely right about Romney's seriousness regarding the budget. I just really liked Rubio. I like Ryan too though.
