There is some speculation that Joe Biden would be asked to step down from the ticket after his remarks in Danville, Virginia. Nonsense! Biden did not deviate from the party line. The obvious attempt to paint Mitt Romney as an aspiring slaveholder was no gaffe. Joe Biden is eminently qualified to speak for the band of race hustlers, bullies, and thugs that used to be the Democratic Party. Biden is competent but like Obama he's unprincipled. The Democratic Party is quickly becoming a cesspool of anti-Semites, anti-Christians, and yes, anti-Americans and for that they can thank Barack Obama.
Artur Davis is not enamored with Joe Biden or his platoons of race hustlers. He has seen it all before. What used to be a questionable tactic in cultural backwaters of the deep south is now put in the front window of the national Democratic Party.
"When I heard him reach for the bottom of the deck and talk about one party putting people in chains? When I heard someone that I admired and have been on platforms with, talk about ordinary conservative principles being essentially racial viciousness – that’s the allegation that he was making yesterday. I was disappointed by it, but I have to tell you it brought back memories to me. It brought back memories of these Democratic politicians in the South who think they can go before black crowds and say one thing, but nobody else will hear it, and that they can somehow get a cheer in the room, and that they can blithely go on about their business."
I wish we would see more of Davis.
