McMahon is Ready for Murphy

Linda McMahon eked out a modest 76% to 24% over RINO former Congressman Chris Shays and the Democratic Senatorial campaign committee, in its usual churlish prose was quick to respond.
"Linda McMahon is a greedy CEO who made millions marketing sex and violence to little kids, all at the expense of the health and safety of her own employees.''
McMahon now faces Chris Murphy, an almost stereotypical liberal who has devoted his life to public service, meaning he never really got around to finding productive employment. If reading the Congressman's Wikipedia page is any indication he must be great at Trivial Pursuit. In fact that might be a great title for his biography. For instance Mr. Murphy was outraged when the Lowe's company chose to withdraw advertising from the television program “All American Muslim,” calling the decision evidence of bigotry. Then there is the Justin Bieber affair which I'll quote in its entirety.
"When singer Justin Bieber said in an interview with Rolling Stone that he admired the health-care system in his native country of Canada, Murphy wrote a tweet to the Huffington Post in which he expressed approval of Bieber's stand. Shortly thereafter Murphy noticed that Bieber, in the same interview, came out against abortion, so Murphy sent out another tweet to distance himself from the teen's position on that issue."
Well at least he not a total ass kisser. It takes real courage to disagree with Justin Bieber.
McMahon has put together a credible economic plan. In fact it is spelled out at some length in a pdf file. One could quibble that it looks like the supply sider's Christmas list but it's refreshing to read something that gets to the root cause of our economic woes rather than some banal rant on the need for more green energy spending.
Having plenty of money has its advantages. I don't know if I've stumbled upon all of them but McMahon has at least 3 web sites devoted to this campaign. Aside from her campaign site, Linda for US Senate there is also Linda's Plan which deals with her jobs plan and Murphy's No Job Plan which deals with Murphy's lack of a jobs plan.
If the race were being run any place outside of the northeast or California McMahon would trounce Murphy by 20 points but this is the same state that kept corruptocrat Chris Dodd in office for 30 years. Whether it's the 8 percent unemployment of just plain disgust for the entrenched powers that run the state something is moving Connecticut to the center. This could be the year common sense make a come back in the Nutmeg State. Good luck, Linda.
