The charade continues.
Jesse Jackson Jr. has introduced into the House a "resolution" that asks for Rick Perry to "apologize for his family's decision" to lease the hunting ground that SOMEONE ELSE OWNED because at one time there was an offensive name painted on a rock at the ranch.
An offensive name that was used in earlier days as a geographical identifier.
On land that Perry's FAMILY did not own.
On a rock that Perry's FAMILY painted over.
And then turned over.
Oh, and Jesse Jackson Jr. also wants any names of legislators/politicians who visited the ranch during those years.
And the purpose to know THAT information?
Obviously, Mr. Jackson is planning to use that information to condemn others, presumably white, as racist and insensitive.
What's really sick about this is that politicians have absolutely no business using laws and resolutions to get back at political opponents.
And he'd also better remember that Rick Perry was a Democrat at the time.
And we know that there are a lot more racists in the Democrat party than the Republican. Even ones who used to be Grand Wizards in the Ku Klux Klan.
