Republican Paul Babeu, the Pinal County Sheriff, is forming an exploratory committee for a likely House bid in Arizona. Babeu, who is a retired Army reserve major and an Iraqi war veteran, hopes to capture the newly drawn fourth congressional district. He would not face a Democratic incumbent, as the present Congressman, Republican David Schweikert will be running in another district. Babeu has gained national fame as a critic of Obama's lack of border security and more recently the Fast and Furious scandal.
