Obama-it's about the winning, WINNING

  Oooooo, wow, we're impressed.
The Prince has announced to the world that he has given money to people who write sob stories to him. Jake Tapper:

“A few times during his presidency, Obama admitted, he had written a personal check or made a phone call on the writer’s behalf, believing that it was his only way to ensure a fast result,” Saslow wrote in the Post.
“It’s not something I should advertise, but it has happened,” the president told Saslow. “Some of these letters you read and you say, ‘Gosh, I really want to help this person, and I may not have the tools to help them right now. And then you start thinking about the fact that for every one person that wrote describing their story, there might be another hundred thousand going through the same thing. So there are times when I’m reading the letters and I feel pained that I can’t do more, faster, to make a difference in their lives.”
  Comments and questions for POTUS:
  • Did you vet the letter writers' true financial conditions as well as you vetted Solyndra's recipients? Or was there a contribution in there to a displaced African prince? (perhaps a relative?)
  • Why are you doing this NOW when you're in reelection mode, when you are known in the past for not being particularly charitable, counting "charitable" gifts to the Congressional Black Caucus, an African American dance troupe and the lovable Jeremiah Wright's cheerful performances?
  • We're glad you've decided to spend some of your OWN money for a hopen change. Oh, wait. We pay your salary.
  • You say "It's not something I should advertise." Well, then. Why are you?
This from the man who flies buses, limos and huge entourages around the world.
