Well, the House floor looks like the SOTU speech. Honestly, all this for a speech? It's to go 43 minutes? Uh.
He's got the whole jaw jutting thing down. Pursed lips. Not drawling yet, but holding on to his ssssss.
He's talkin' 'bout the common man now. Extolling the virtues of hard working Americans. Everyone gets a fair shake, gets their fair share.
"If you did the right thing, you could make it."
Why is this not convincing? He thinks he can talk his way out of this mess, pointing his fingers, admonishing Congress to meet their responsibilities.
Apparently balancing the budget isn't on that list.
Fairness, fairness, fairness.
Is he going to mention Michelle's wasteful jetting around the world? Flying separately on vacations?
Doubt it.
UPDATE: Ugh. Pointing fingers. Pass this bill. Repetition. Warren Buffett (Mr. I don't pay any taxes because I'm in arrears) and Geoffrey Immelt (Mr. I ship jobs to China) are the examples? Trumpka's in the box with Michelle after all the thuggish crap that's gone down by that bunch this week?
