Brilliant he's not

  Sigh.
I have nothing against non-brilliant people.
  I am one myself.
But the foolish adoration (Deepak Chopra, I'm talkin' to you) many have shown toward *The Prince* surpasses belief and contributes to nausea.
  C'mon, people. He's just a dude.
A dude who really LIKES himself, in addition to the foolish adorers.
The conservative blogosphere has a collection of Obama/Biden gaffes, by no means complete. Every day brings new material, if conservatives are quick and alert enough to catch it. Certainly they won't get the material from the LSM.
A pretty good wrap up is over at IrishExaminerUSA by Alicia Colon.
  Here's the opener.
Ever since Barack Hussein Obama emerged as a candidate for president he has received glowing accolades from celebrities and liberal pundits for his supposed intelligence. After his election, Barbra Streisand gushed, "It's such a wonderful thing for our country and our world. He's so intelligent and so smart." Gore Vidal was on the Joy Behar show and lamented that "he's too intelligent for the job." Behar agreed and said that after George W. Bush's presidency, the American public wasn't prepared for "the shock of such a smart guy." Mr. Vidal also had no compunction in showing how much he loathed President Bush. After mimicking the former president he told the viewers he wanted to murder him. Behar responded by chuckling.
The rest of the piece is delicious, for those of us who are aware, although by no means comprehensive, particularly when Colon points out that Bush (and Palin, for that matter) was mocked for his GPA but we aren't allowed to even see Obama's.
I think we've seen enough to know that *The Prince* is pretty clueless and certainly determined to "remake" America, as he claimed during his campaign.
  From Political Humor:

"The Middle East is obviously an issue that has plagued the region for centuries." --Tampa, Fla., Jan. 28, 2010
"UPS and FedEx are doing just fine, right? It's the Post Office that's always having problems." –attempting to make the case for government-run healthcare, while simultaneously undercutting his own argument, Portsmouth, N.H., Aug. 11, 2009
"What I was suggesting -- you're absolutelyright that John McCain has not talked about my Muslim faith..." --in an interview with ABC's George Stephanopoulos, who jumped in to correct Obama by saying "your Christian faith," which Obama quickly clarified [ed:when prompted by the MSM dude who had his back]
"Let me be absolutely clear. Israel is a strong friend of Israel's. It will be a strong friend of Israel's under a McCain...administration. It will be a strong friend of Israel's under an Obama administration. So that policy is not going to change." --Amman, Jordan, July 22, 2008 [ed: yes, and that wasn't a lie, was it?]
There's more. And more. And more. And more

Some commenters are pretty mean in their criticism:

  We won't go that far.
It's pretty obvious something ain't right though.
