Obama Wanted to Apologize to Japan for A-Bomb
According to a cable President Obama wanted to apologize to Japan for the A-bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Japan nixed the stupid idea expressing concern about the effect it would have on the anti-nuke movement. A heretofore secret cable dated Sept. 3, 2009, was recently released by WikiLeaks. Sent to Secretary of State Clinton, it reported Japan's Vice Foreign Minister Mitoji Yabunaka telling U.S. Ambassador John Roos that "the idea of President Obama visiting Hiroshima to apologize for the atomic bombing during World War II is a 'nonstarter.'" Exactly what drives this excessive apology syndrome is unclear but he might want to visit some of his sympathy on the families of the 200 Mexicans killed with guns sent to Mexico under the loving care of the ATF. Recently the State Department contacted the family of al-Qaida propagandist and recruiter Samir Khan to "express its condolences" to his family. Kahn was Anwar al-Awlaki assistant and web master and was killed in the same drone attack.
