Obamabot freak show continues

I mentioned in a precious post that the Obamabots are becoming increasingly bizarre in behavior; just check out the Drudge Report periodically and you'll groan, sigh and then move off the page because it's so either funny or depressing. I can't decide which.
So when billionaire ($2.9) Oprah was out complaining the other day about here "treatment" by a Swiss shop clerk who Oprah claimed refused to show her a $38,000 handbag at a tony shop in Switzerland.
In the context of being asked if she ever feels racism, Oprah responded to Larry King:
Indeed she has: “The higher up you go in the chain of capitalism,” she said, “people don’t expect you to be sitting at certain board tables. I sense it, and you know it.”
She alluded to a similar headline-generating incident that occurred in Paris in 2005, when the salespeople at the Hermes boutique on the fabled Rue du Faubourg St-Honore refused to let her into their boutique because, they said, she’d arrived just after it closed, and the staff was preparing the store for a private presentation of its clothes.
How much does the clerk make? Probably not much. Oprah? $77 million last year alone.
Oprah explained that she hadn't worn her "false eyelashes" and maybe that was why the clerk was racist to her. She arrived via her jet in Switzerland looking like this, sans makeup and glamorous outfit:
Glam she is not and, wow, she's been eatin' some leftovers since the Big Reveal when she hauled 67 pounds of fat out on a wagon after she lost that much weight.
Apparently perceived racism in Switzerland is the ultimate injury one can suffer next to death.
Oprah's network's been struggling as she fades into oblivion; it was necessary to get back on the radar for the premier of "The Butler," I guess, but when you've lost TMZ, Oprah, you know you're in trouble.
Speaking of weirdos, Anthony Weiner's not having such a great time. Even New Yorkers are sick of him, but a particularly hilariously pathetic account is over at RealClearPolitics, where he muttered repeatedly that his handlers weren't doing their jobs because peole kept slamming their doors in his face after he pounded on them in campaign mode. He elicited comments like this one in Harlem, where the residents are none too happy that he's back on their doorsteps:
“I already said I didn’t want to meet you,” a woman inside one door, which remained closed, told Weiner. “Please stop knocking on my door.”
   And:
“You’ve been in here already,” the woman who answered the door told him. “Why are you coming back?”
Breitbart has more. Weiner continues to sink in the polls, like his hero Barack Obama.
Then there are the union funeral home protesters.
And the rodeo clown. The poor rodeo clown who only did what other rodeo clowns have done during past presidencies.
Don't get me started on the teachers who wrote letters of recommendation for their peer, a convicted child molester.
And why Obama would mock the American people by being so ridiculous on the golf course, it's hard to know. At least Greta Van Susteren isn't afraid to take on that subject.
Obviously optics don't matter but they all seem to be taking their cues from the wack-a-doo in chief.
But, like I said, they're overconfident.
ALSO: Powerline has a reasoned less inflammatory post about the origins of the bizarre behavior.
But I would go beyond that: I suspect that there is another reason why the press is so fixated on race these days. The left’s agenda is in tatters. Obamacare has crashed on takeoff, after five years of Democratic policies the economy is in the doldrums and we are nearly $17 trillion in debt, and the Obama administration’s foreign policy is is disarray. The Democratic Party, as represented by the press, desperately needs sideshows to 1) rally the party’s faithful, and 2) distract the rest of us from the failures of the liberal agenda. Thus, I don’t think it is a coincidence that liberals are doing their best to portray the summer of 2013 as more or less a replay of 1967. The silliness of the attempt is a measure of how out of ammo liberals are these days.
AND: I meant to add that I find it absolutely outrageous that some of the richest people in this country so freely ridicule little old middle class nobodies like me for being racist/sexist/homophobe because we see the world differently than they do.
Did I mention that some of the richest people in this country are also Leftist and black? What percentage of sports stars, actors, singers and politicians in this country are black?
And yet if you're black and conservative, this cabal of Leftist Richie Riches will treat you with a greater scorn than even a white middle class Tea Partier. Now that's offensive@!
