Cain reminds me of Reagan. Just sayin.'

Twitter is all abuzz this morning about Herman Cain's appearance at the debates.
Why do we like Herman Cain, in addition to his being just plain, well, likable?
He's unapologetic about his love for this country and the opportunities it has given him.
  He's sensible.
His diction isn't the greatest, but that may be an advantage because he's plain spoken.
  He's not a politician.
In a homey, comfortable healing way, his gravitas, humor and wisdom sort of remind of someone named Reagan, who had a way of maximizing cheer and minimizing gloominess.  Reagan didn't take himself so seriously that he responded to every sling and arrow and he certainly didn't run an "I, me, mine" presidency.
Cain also has the advantages of being older and having grown through a serious disease.

The Other McCain has lots on the opposition to Cain.
