Valerie Plame vs Navy Seals

Now that the Obama administration has outed Navy Seals, including the family of one whose home in California was publicly visited by officials to present a flag of congratulations.
Now everyone knows where he and his family live.
While all the persons involved in the Situation Room photo op agreed to keep details quiet, that all "fell apart the next day," according to Gates, so measures are being taken to secure the safety of the SEALS and their families, which wouldn't have been necessary if the big mouths in the administration could have kept their traps shut.
According to the Seattle PI, Americans "yearn to talk to" the specific SEALS who participated in the raid.
  What.
Surely a reality show is next, starring the highly secretive SEALS' personal romantic relationships that are put into turmoil each time they go out on a raid.
The AP reports that a 26 year old male "veterinarian" named Flener (which should mean the fellow is smart enough to understand the facts) wants to know their names and wonders why such a "historic event is shrouded in secrecy."
  Really.
Mr. Flener needs to know their names.
Wait. I'm hearing the word "dope" for some reason.
Jonah Goldberg wonders why all the rush to not only announce the kill, but crow about all the information that was gleaned.
Daily we hear gushing about how much we're learning, even as the terrorists pack their bags and move to new digs to avoid the next kill.
  NRO:
Surely one more week of harmlessly searching hard drives while the public was kept in the dark wouldn’t have been too great an additional burden. The White House would have still gotten their moment to preen and to ride their bump in the polls as far as they could. All they had to do is hold their tongues for a little while longer.
Valerie Plame, "the spy who got shoved out in the cold," who hadn't been out in the field for at least six years which disqualified her as a "covert agent," received much acclaim and sympathy for her supposed hard hearted "outing," which proved to be untrue anyway.
Lawsuits followed. Shock and disparagement. Charges filed. People's careers ruined.Jail time sentenced.
A movie deal and much financial reward followed Plame's "outing," benefiting her far more than any career in the CIA.
The incident became a political football, with the left on search and destroy missions used to gain advantage over the other side.
The press was outraged, outraged, sympathetic to the poor wounded Plame, who publicly lamented her loss of status at the CIA.
  So I ask.
Who will file charges against the individuals who are responsible for this outrage?
Which MSM outlets will excoriate specific individuals for endangering the lives of these courageous individuals.
  We're waiting.
UPDATE: Looks like the Washington Post is working hard on the case. Oh, not of revealing the administration officials who broke top secret information, but in exposing the SEALS themselves. This article has to be read to be believed. It includes interviews, suppositions about appearance, hangouts...on and on.

  2. Oooooooo you're really on top of the argument. Looks like we struck a nerve.

Apparently the lives and safety of the Navy SEALS are unimportant compared with a liberal Democrat.
