TOLEDO BLADE ENDORSES SAMUEL J WURZELBACHER FOR 9TH DISTRICT CONGRESS
Joe the Plumber picks up another major endorsement in Congressional race
Toledo, OH- Samuel J Wurzelbacher, also known as Joe the Plumber, was endorsed today by the Toledo Blade, the Toledo area’s major newspaper. The Blade endorsement comes after a string of major endorsements for Wurzelbacher including the Plain Dealer, the Lucas and Cuyahoga County Republican Parties, the Western Representation PAC, and conservative leaders such as Herman Cain, Phyllis Schlafly, Andrew Breitbart, and others.
Wurzelbacher released the following statement today:
“Having read the Blade all my life, I am humbled to receive their endorsement. Our campaign is excited to have locked up almost all of the major endorsements in the district, and we look forward to coming out of the March 6th Primary stronger than ever. While the Democrats divide themselves between Kaptur and Kucinich, Republicans will be heading to November united and prepared to win.”
