Let us extrapolate.
Dr. Zero writes that there really aren't enough millionaires and billionaires in this country to make a significant difference in paying off the current debt. Naturally, that will mean moving to a different population to gain the "revenues" needed to pay for Congress's "investments" in Chinese prostitutes and the sexual behavior of high college students:
Let’s go in the other direction, and choose a larger pool of class enemies, as comrade Obama does. Divide his $1.7 trillion budget among all of the greedy devils making $200,000 or more per year, and you would only have to raise taxes on each one of them by $433,177 per year.
Damn, that’s not going to work either! Most of the Two Hundred Grand “millionaires” don’t make half a million bucks per year!So what's the purpose of mocking those who make a lot of money? And evil corporations who need to pay more taxes?
But wait, but wait, it's true not all corporations pay a lot in taxes. Take GE, for example, run by Obama crony and business advisor Immelt and owner of the sycophantic NBC news organization. GE paid NO income taxes last year yet earned $14.2 billion in profits.
Liberals defend GE, while attacking the Tea Party as "terrorists" for their desire to lower spending while claiming the reason other businesses aren't making money is because they aren't selling products, completely ignoring the impact of Obamacare and business's reluctance to hire under this administration's destructive policies.
Go figure.
Jay Carney now claims that the White House doesn't create jobs (before the stimulus created and saved jobs but not now that we wasted $800 billion).
Instead, he says, the White House and Congress (subtle *blame shifting alert*) are:
“Well, the White House doesn’t create jobs,” Carney said. “The government together — the White House, Congress — creates policies that allow for greater job creation.”So wait. Let me get this straight.
The White House no longer creates jobs; their policies allow for greater job creation.
Oh, okay.
So we're broke.
There are no jobs.
And the White House and Congress, of which Democrats have had complete control from 2007-2010, set policy that allows greater job creation.
When are you guys going to fix that?
Here's the video:
Government policies??
What government program is run efficiently? The USPS is billions in the hole and unlikely to improve because of union contracts, bad attitudes, legacy costs and generally slothful behavior developed over years of having to die to lose your job rather than get fired for inadequacy.
Meanwhile the Pettifogger in Chief gets on the air with his curiously detached and flat admonition that things will get better, just before he leaves for yet another of his parties with those evil rich folks.
How many parties have YOU had for your birthday?
After exhausting himself on the party route, *The Prince* needs a refreshing weekend at Camp David before his Martha's Vineyard vacation.
Watching some of these events reveals an interesting human dynamic. The ego rush *The Prince* gets from all the oohing and ahhing and grasping of hands and cluck clucks just to be near him isn't nearly as exciting, of course, as a boring press conference where he has to encourage the American people that "things will get better."
His face sure shows it.
After 9/11, the p.c. crowd went through contortions over "Why do they hate us so much?"
The answer was, invariably, they hate us because of our policies.
So there's your answer.
It's the economy, stupid.
And it's the policy, stupid.
The policies that are preventing new jobs from being created right here in the old US of A.
