In ObamAmerica, SWAT teams all round!

Well, as Hoosierman noted, apparently the Department of Education, which purchased 127 high powered rifles last fall, sent a SWAT team in to grab a guy and his three kids. The whole account is pretty horrifying, including the poor guy looking out the window to see 15 SWAT guys ready to charge his house, which they did, holding him and his kids in a car for 6 hours for some kind of grilling.
What was the problem? His ex wife had apparently defaulted on some student loans.
Here he is to tell the story himself:

So in light of these developments, we might speculate on what the future of ObamAmerica looks like. What other kinds of SWAT teams will be needed? Since the feds have taken over all student loans, surely the DO Education SWAT team will be needed and expanded.
How about a Light Bulb SWAT team? Oh, wait...
A Gas SWAT team for ozone action days, preferably using no gun powder to apprehend the offenders. Oh, wait...
A White Flour SWAT team for schools. Wheat only. Oh, wait...
On that vein, maybe a Chili Dog SWAT team that only attacks citizens, not presidents. Oh, wait...
Oh! A Salt SWAT team! They could have white uniforms! Oh,wait...
An Energy SWAT team. Oh, wait.
Hey, I'm with Hoosierman. Americans, get angry!

  1. I hope this isn't the end of this. That's real classy of the feds. They hand the guy his rights to read then proceed to violate them. I thought only a judge could sign a warrant. Apparantly dept of e issues & executes the warrants. It may be some the law but it sure as hell isn't constitutional.

  2. Ok. The warrant was signed by a federal magistrate. Weasel Zippers has a copy.

  3. Well, they're coming up with all kinds of reasons to toss people's rights out the window! I just tweeted a Reason video about cameras and how they are now arresting people (I've posted on this before but GEEZ) simply for filming police and government officials. What's the purpose in that, other than to HIDE WHAT THEY'RE DOING?
