Urgent: Saving Western Civilization

  You have heard that David Cameron has come out against multiculturalism, a topic favored by many who want to drown their own Western Civ culture with other cultures. This has been a goal of leftists for many years. 
  Remember the chants of "Hey, hey, ho, ho, western civ has gotta go." 
  This has been accomplished from the inside out at many universities, where basic requirements of Western Civilization and the Judeo Christian ethic are no longer required. 
  For example, how is it possible to major in English literature and not be required to take a course in Shakespeare? 

In the spring of 1996, Georgetown University set off a firestorm of protest when it dropped its Great Authors requirement for English majors. Until recently, at most universities, majors were required to take one or more of the three writers regarded as the pre-eminent representatives of English language and literature -- Geoffrey Chaucer, William Shakespeare, and John Milton. Georgetown required students to take two. Beginning with the class of 1999, they will require none. Majors will be free from the burdens of the great writers, allowing more opportunity to study “Hardboiled Detective Fiction,” “AIDS and Representation,” and “History and Theory of Sexuality.”

  Now other western countries are objecting to the effects of multiculturalism. This isn't racial or religious bigotry; it's survival on the part of these cultures. This from The Daily Mail in the UK:

French president Nicolas Sarkozy has joined David Cameron in condemning multiculturalism as a failure.

Cameron launched a scathing attack earlier this months on 30 years of multiculturalism in Britain warning that it fostered extremism.

  It's one thing to welcome other cultures into a new country; it's quite another to submit one's own tradition and culture to a hostile and forceful takeover.
  In the UK, The Daily Mail has an expose of the schools that have literally beaten its students into submission, training them that Christians, Jews and Hindus are inferior to Muslims. These schools aren't just in the UK either, so don't rest easy thinking so. From the Daily Mail: 

However, we have a Government that, on the one hand, gives grand speeches about tackling the causes of extremism, as David Cameron did last week, while, on the other, encouraging local communities to set up their own schools – including faith schools. It’s time to stop these mixed messages. 

And Muslims can no longer sweep this under the carpet – they need to face up to what is happening behind closed doors. Many warn that if we don’t all tackle this toxic mix of hatred and violence head on, we will reap the whirlwind in years to come.

  It's interesting to see these western countries finally acknowledging that the approach of letting other cultures come in, ride the welfare bandwagon, not learn the language, not be deported if they're illegal and go on to commit crimes, have their own schools (some at taxpayer expense) and teach violent, hostile action against the very country that has welcomed them in both spirit and letter.
  So Merkel, Sarkozy and Cameron have come to this realization regarding hostile immigrants. The realization that there's a problem is a baby step toward rectifying the situation. Now more significant actions need to be taken to assimilate newcomers into the culture; one's grandfather used to say, "Speak English. You are in America now." This can be done while retaining the richness of a heritage from other shores, while respecting the country where you now reside.
