Girl Scouts: pledge to hector public officials

  CNS has done it again--caught a modern organization in trying to manipulate the behavior and minds of children. This time it's the Girl Scouts, who have encouraged their members to "advocate" for global warming solutions, even in the light of recent revelations that discredit  the movement. Read it here at CNS:

One of the tenets of the pledge was to, “Inform my elected local, state, and federal officials about my views on environmental policies and urge them to support legislation that reduces greenhouse gas emissions and promotes energy efficiency and renewable technologies.”

  They've since pulled the pledge until they can refine it. One wonders if Girl Scout leaders would ever write a pledge to pester public officials that affirmed the opposite, ie that global warming is a fraud meant to redistribute wealth.
  Naw. Pretty sure that could never happen.
