so long, farewell, auf Weidersehen, good night....

I have to say the DCCC's mourning Glenn Beck's loss is pretty funny. I assume the misspellings are intentional, because Democrats are, of course, the smartest people in the whole world:
****************************
But THIS isn't funny at all and it's a shame that Facebook is allowing a page to exist for months suggesting someone murder Sarah Palin. Regardless what you think of her or any person, to put something like this up is unbalanced. Stick with the funny stuff, dopes.
*****************************
Wow. The Washington Times reports that Patricia Cornwell is involved in a political scandal. As usual, it looks like some people are willing to do anything to win:
Novelist Patricia Cornwell, billed as America’s No. 1 crime writer, is entangled in a real-life federal investigation into the expenditure of tens of thousands of dollars in illegal campaign contributions to Hillary Rodham Clinton’s 2008 presidential campaign, court records show.

And the educators know best, even at lunch. Students at this Chicago school aren't allowed to pack lunches anymore but have to buy lunch from school. Can you say gluten allergies? The Blaze:
“Nutrition wise, it is better for the children to eat at the school,”Principal Elsa Carmona told the Tribune. “It’s about the nutrition and the excellent quality food that they are able to serve (in the lunchroom). It’s milk versus a Coke. But with allergies and any medical issue, of course, we would make an exception.”
***********************************
And who could have guessed there's drama in the current White House?
***********************************
Now the old Democrat lady who verified the Wisconsin count for Supreme Court justice was accurate has recanted. Can you imagine the death threats she's suffered? The egging her house has taken? Wispolitics:

"In retrospect, it seems both shocking and somewhat appalling there was no mention of discovery of this 15,000 vote 'human error' that ultimately had the potential to tip the balance of an entire statewide election. How is this possible?" she said.
Once the canvass was complete, she was pulled into a meeting with Nickolaus and the GOP member of the canvass board where they were told of an upcoming news conference and the mistake, though not the magnitude. Nickolaus explained what happened and showed them different tapes "where the numbers seemed to add up, though I have no idea where the numbers were coming from." She also said she was instructed she would not say anything at the news conference.

There've been rumors for years that all the conspirators were not caught in the OKC bombing. Now the truth? American Thinker:
Dispelling the image of Timothy McVeigh as the bombing mastermind, Nichols resolutely confirmed that the decorated Gulf War veteran had numerous liaisons with men of Arab extraction, boldly proclaiming, "McVeigh talked about Middle Easterners on a number of occasions, and quite frequently," but Nichols claimed that he "could not remember the context of those discussions."  Once again, Nichols refused to reveal the third terrorist, terrified of retribution.

  From the NY Times:
“They were judging me for who I am, not for the job I was being asked to do, and that’s wrong, and I was hurt,” he said. “I’m doing this so everyone knows it’s wrong, so it doesn’t happen to anyone else.”
All s/he's missing is the right body parts.
**************************************
So let's run somebody for the Senate who was shot in the brain. After all, some people will do anything to win. We've been wondering about those sunny reports that Congresswoman Giffords is practically back to usual already. Newsweek:
“Let’s say that she’s 90 percent [recovered],” says Mike McNulty, Giffords’s last campaign chairman. “Well, we’ve had congressmen in Arizona who didn’t even have a brain. So, it’s not like you have to be as talented as she is to be good at it.”
As mentioned, political opportunism knows no boundaries.
  For some people, anyway.
*********************************
And, hey, dope, it's your fault gas prices are so high. What are ya, drivin' around in an 8 mpg armored Cadillac? Heritage:
President Barack Obama deflected blame for high gas prices yesterday, by blaming American consumers for their automobile choices. According to the AP, at an event at a wind turbine plant, “Obama needled one questioner who asked about gas prices.” Obama laughingly said: “If you’re complaining about the price of gas and you’re only getting 8 miles a gallon, you know…you might want to think about a trade-in.” (The AP later scrubbed this quote from its stories.
