Reversing structural problems in our economy that have been building up for two decades, that was going to take time. It was going to take more than a year. It was going to take more than two years. It was going to take more than one term. Probably takes more than one president.We could pick apart the weird shimmying, the unintentionally insightful metaphor of a ship of state adrift in a storm, the complete denial of any responsibility for the condition of the shape of state, but it's more fun to point out that President Barack Hussein Obama is claiming that not only Bush was responsible for "the mess we're in" but also the previous presidency of William Jefferson Clinton.
